FAQs
How do I prepare my devices for recycling?
Before recycling, we recommend backing up your data, performing a factory reset when possible, removing batteries if they're separate, and disconnecting all cables and accessories. For businesses, maintain an inventory list of all equipment being recycled.
Are there any items you don't accept?
While we accept most electronic and electrical equipment, we cannot process radioactive devices, items contaminated with biological or chemical hazards, or explosives including damaged lithium batteries. Please contact us if you're unsure about a specific item.
Is there a minimum quantity requirement for pickup?
For residential pickups, we require a minimum of 5kg of e-waste. For businesses, our minimum is 25kg. However, we can make arrangements for special circumstances – contact us to discuss your needs.
How do you ensure data security?
We employ a three-layer approach to data security: software-based data erasure using Blancco (which meets Department of Defense standards), magnetic degaussing for applicable media, and physical destruction through industrial shredders that reduce storage devices to particles smaller than 5mm.
Do you provide recycling certificates?
Yes, we provide detailed recycling certificates for all processed items. These certificates include information about the type and quantity of materials recycled, which helps businesses maintain compliance with EPR regulations.
